## SMD Resistor coding

SMD resistor are most widely used register and this types of register used in various electronics equipment like TV mobile and different research and development .If we observe the printed circuit board (PCB) we observe the this SMD components with different codes basically this codes define the value of this components in this article we learn that how to fine value of this resisters

There are three types of coding methods used for these resistors

1.        3 Digit coding scheme

2.        4 Digit coding scheme

3.       EIA 96 SMD Resistor coding scheme

1.     three Digit coding  scheme

In this method three digits  are use  for define the value  of this resistors . The first two digits define the two most significant digits the resister values while the  third value define the multiplayer of this resister values

Some times in SMD resister code the latter R is used for define  the position of decimal point

In this way we find the values of SMD resistor code using three digit scheme

2.      four digit coding

In this method four digits  are use  for define the value  of this resistors . The first three digits define the three most significant digits the resister values while the fourth value define the multiplayer of this resister values

Many times in PCB assembly SMD jumper are used periodically the resistance of this jumper is zero

3.     EIA 96 SMD Resistor coding scheme

For the high position resister this  3rd type of scheme is used in this type of resister s the  tolerance is zero  percent there are three character used in this  scheme the out of three character  first two character are the numbers and third character  is multiplayer latter

The table defines the multiplying factor of this resister

This table define the first two digit of number values
